Instead of a one-evening Sip’n’Shop event, we have now decided to give more people more chances to Sip’n’Shop with us by having the opportunity to taste and buy wine every Saturday afternoon from 12PM to 4 PM until the end of the year.

 

All bottles will be available for 25% off to take home!

 

So make a plan to drop by for lunch and a sample or two and start stocking up some bottles for your holiday entertaining.

 

Featured wines will change every week!

AND each week, we will have a few other fun things for you to shop for as well!

The easiest way for you to win something this season - just join us between now and 2024 and take a picture under one of our mistletoe (indoors or outside)  during your visit!

Posture your picture on Instagram or Facebook, tag us and use the hashtag #wandermistletoe to get entered into a WEEKLY DRAW for fun prizes such as gift certificates, wine-themed gifts and more!

All is merry and bright at the 4th Annual Downtown Sudbury Holiday Market. Ignite your holiday spirit as we transform the city into a winter wonderland.

Holiday Main Street will be set up on Durham Street running from the YMCA to Larch Street.

How do I book a party?

​

Whether you want a wine pairing class-type event (a number of courses with wine pairings and a bit of education) - or were looking to have everyone order off a regular menu, 

we can customize a menu plan that fits your ideal party format!

​

For all group events of more than 8 guests, we ask for a deposit of $250 to hold the date for you. 

 

Although there are no room rental fee for the use of our space, a minimum food and beverage expenditure is requested, which varies depending on the day of the week chosen for your event.

​

For less than 8 guests, feel free to make a reservation online at anytime! (The more notice the better!)

 

Are there any time restrictions on event bookings?

 

Events may not run past 11pm unless pre-arranged for necessary staffing. Late-night events can be arranged with sufficient notice.

​

Do you serve anything other than wine at your bar?

 

We are primarily a wine bar so we keep our cocktail selections to those that are wine-based, but we do offer a selection of imported beer and non-alcoholic offerings. We can add in other cocktails and drinks to a bar menu for a private event (bar buy-out) as long as we have enough notice.

​

Can we have any special music or entertainment?

​

We can help coordinate live entertainment for your event. DJ services are included at no extra charge for private cocktail parties from 16 to 28 guests.

​

Do you have set menus for me to choose from?

​

We don’t have any standard or set menus that we can easily share with you as they are always unique and customized based on the wines selected and available. 

 

We prefer to surprise the guests with the menu and pairings!

​

We can start with an overall theme (wine region, country, wine style) and then we can take it from there.

​

Downtown Sudbury's 'Best Gifts Under the Tree' Contest is back!

Shop downtown from now until December 15th to be entered into a draw to win!!

Ballot boxes can be found at over 20+ participating businesses across the downtown core. To enter simply fill out a ballot with your name & contact info and drop it into the ballot box.

​

The Downtown BIA will be drawing 9 WINNERS over the course of December - 3 winners a week until Christmas. Each winner will walk away with a prize package filled to the brim with gift certificates from participating businesses. There are up to $6000 in prizes to be won!!

To keep things easy over the month of December, we have planned out a menu that will be the same all month long (except for our NYE event).

Hold onto your receipts from downtown businesses to receive a FREE gift from Downtown Sudbury as a thank you for shopping local.

 

Our Downtown BIA will be accepting receipts for purchases made any time between November 18th to December 16th.

 

Once you’ve collected $75 (before tax) in receipts from one or multiple downtown businesses, you will be eligible for a free gift.

 

Each Saturday for the first 3 weeks of December DSBIA staff will be giving out gifts at the office located at 115 Larch Street.

​

Staff will stamp receipts once redeemed and return them to you. Once redeemed, receipts will not be eligible for the following week.

​

The FREE Gift Schedule is as follows:

 

December 2nd – Wreaths/Swag
December 9th – Poinsettias
December 16th – Cyclamen Plants

 

As always, only one gift per customer (each week) while supplies last.
